WBO SIG's Resilience Series Event 4: How to Continue Networking/Business Development During COVID
Thursday, June 03, 2021, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM EDT
Category: WBO SIG

Join the WIT Women Business Owners Special Interest Group (WBO SIG) for an evening of practical skill development—the fourth event in our 2020-2021 series designed to help entrepreneurs survive, and even thrive, in these uncertain times.

How do you get new business or find new employment opportunities when you are confined to your home office? We will hear from a panel of owners and business development and human resources professionals who share their tips and strategies for navigating the virtual world to network, develop contacts, and explore opportunities.

Kathleen will discuss strategies for networking, building referrals, and cultivating prospects in a remote environment; and Cindy will provide tips for virtually identifying job opportunities and applying and interviewing for new employment opportunities. After discussion and Q&A, participants will be able to learn how to apply new techniques and tweak traditional ones for gaining customers.

This event is FREE to WIT Members and Non-members!

Prior to her move into the talent field, Cynthia worked as an international relations and policy expert for the Department of Treasury, Homeland Security, and JP Morgan, and served in Peace Corps, Nicaragua. She is a graduate of Georgetown University and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
