DESCRIPTION:Join the WIT Women Business Owners Special Interest Group (WBO SIG) for an
evening of inspiration and imagination—the second event in our 2019-2020 se
ries designed to help entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses. This i
nspiring event will help participants learn how to use their personal passi
ons and motivation to turn ideas into potential business solutions through
experimentation.
The event will begin with an overview of the I
nvention Cycle with a deep dive into the Creativity step. Next, Brian Stuck
y will share how he coupled his in-depth knowledge of the mortgage industry
with his passion for decision management and artificial intelligence to ge
nerate and prototype viable product ideas. Shari will then discuss how her
passion for horses and helping business leaders optimize impact inspired he
r to found an innovative and thriving coaching business based on inquiry, e
xperimentation, deep listening, and trust. The session will end with a ques
tion and answer period.
Participants will leave with a framewor
k for testing their ideas and creating a minimal viable product.

Shari Goodwin is an innovative business strategist, leadership coach, a

eadership, and Reinventing Greatness, Shari holds a Master’s degree in biol
ogy, undergraduate degrees in Zoology and English, and is certified in exec
utive coaching and equine-assisted psychotherapy. Shari was a founding memb
er of the Board for George Mason University’s Women in Business Initiative,
is the 2020 Board Chair of the Women’s Business Council for the Fauquier C
