Accelerate(her) presents: Make It Make Sense! A New Way of Planning Professional Development that Makes the Squishy Stuff Concrete and Promotes Change
Thursday, May 28, 2026, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM EDT
Category: Accelerate(her)

Technical leaders are often highly skilled problem solvers, yet many of their biggest performance challenges stem not from technical complexity—but from the “human” side of leadership. Skills such as persuasive communication, managing stress, delegating effectively, and navigating competing priorities can be difficult to develop for professionals trained to think in data, logic, and precision. These challenges are often compounded when managers lack the tools or experience to provide meaningful development support.

In this interactive session, participants will explore a practical, structured approach to behavior change designed specifically for analytically minded professionals. Drawing on nearly 30 years of experience supporting technical leaders, the presenter will introduce a development framework that aligns with how technical professionals think, plan, and execute.
