WBO SIG's Resilience Series Event 3: Improving your speaking skills even on Zoom!

Join the WIT Women Business Owners Special Interest Group (WBO SIG) for an evening of practical skill development—the third event in our 2020-2021 series designed to help entrepreneurs survive, and even thrive, in these uncertain times. 

All of us can improve our public speaking and presentation skills. But the challenges for clearly communicating and keeping an audience engaged are made even more difficult when all interactions are virtual. In this event we will hear from a communications expert, Sarah Gershman of Green Room Speakers. 

Sarah has worked with scores of professionals in various industries. This event will provide tangible tips and techniques to improve speaking skills while staying true to personal style. Participants will walk away feeling more confident and effective in their professional communications.

Sarah Gershman

Sarah Gershman is an executive speech coach and president of Green Room Speakers, a communications consulting firm based in Washington, DC. Sarah is an adjunct professor of communications at the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University where she lectures to students from around the world.

Sarah has coached and trained executives and staff at a variety of national organizations, companies and federal agencies. Sarah has a Masters in Social Work from Columbia University and a Masters in Judaic Studies from the Jewish Theological Seminary. Sarah graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the Johns Hopkins University.
