Carrie Drake

Carrie Drake champions the best for people. She relentlessly drives to connect communities from inspiring women to have louder voices to linking technologies and missions, shaping the best outcomes based on collective goals. She has driven grass roots initiatives to formal organization constructs in the geospatial technology and intelligence community industries.

Originally from a small town in central Kentucky, Carrie graduated from the University of Kentucky. In 2004 she began working for her first nonprofit organization as membership coordinator. In her more than 10 year career as an association professional, she gained experience in membership services, event coordination, volunteer management & engagement, program development, communications, and outreach.
 
In her current role, Carrie leads the Marketing and Communications team for OGSystems, a mid-sized defense innovator supporting the geospatial intelligence industry.
 
Passionate about the value of networking to build a community, Carrie serves in leadership roles for several volunteer organizations, including as a board member and co-chair of the Next Gen Council for the Norther Virginia Chamber of Commerce, founding member of the grassroots group The Amazing Women of the IC (AWIC), and President Elect of Women in Technology (WIT).
 
Carrie resides in Ashburn, Virginia with her husband and spirited young son.
