STEM Experiences: A Win-Win

We are looking for companies like yours to partner with us to share their personal experiences with #GIT girls. We strongly believe that girls benefit greatly from being exposed to STEM professionals and environments, and have the opportunity to "try" a STEM job they are considering themselves.

Some examples of the types of experiences we are looking for:

  • Lunch with an executive
  • Interaction with professional in charge of internships
  • Tour of a data center, lab facility, manufacturing facility
  • Exclusive experience unavailable to a middle or high school girl without this program
  • .......or anything else that you could imagine that would inspire a girl to choose a STEM career

What is in it for your company?

  • Access to some of the brightest female students in the Metro DC area
  • Acknowledgement in the program and your company name announced at a GIT event.
  • Opportunity to share internship opportunities within your company
  • Invitation to demonstrate any STEAM K-12 outreach programs that your company invests with (IE- FIRST Robotics, Cyber competitions, Math Counts, TARC)
  • Your company signage and your company swag giveaways at your demonstration table at a Sharing Our Success event.
  • Through STEM for Her, your donation could be tax-deductible.
