Melissa Randolph - Membership Chair

Melissa began her career as a Client Manager with Hilb Rogal & Hobbs in 2004 and continued in that role until 2008 when HRH was acquired by Willis. As Client Manager, Melissa was responsible to oversee a significant block of both corporate and non-for-profit middle market accounts in the Washington, DC metro area. Her day-to-day responsibilities included client service, renewal marketing, coordination and execution of benefit open enrollment meetings and client presentations. She facilitated carrier relations, resolved billing and enrollment issues on behalf of clients and assisted members with escalated claims resolution. Melissa also spearheaded the HRH Quarterly Employee Benefits Seminar initiative: gratis education symposiums for our clients.
In 2009, after demonstrating exemplary client service and a retention rate of 98% during her tenure as Client Manager, Melissa was promoted to the role of Client Advocate, a pure consulting role which is measured by client satisfaction and retention.
Melissa partners with her clients to manage all aspects of their Human Capital Risk. She is tasked with the assessment, design and implementation of strategies aligned with her clients’ unique organizational objectives and she has been very successful in consulting with her clients to identify key human capital risks, solutions for those risks and areas for cost containment and reduction, enabling her clients to attract, retain and motivate top talent.
Melissa studied Political Science at Towson University and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Metropolitan Area Credit Union Management Association (MACUMA), Apartment and Office Building Association (AOBA) and the Bethesda-Chevy Chase, Montgomery County and Alexandria Chambers of Commerce.
Melissa’s areas of expertise include Government Contractors, Banking & Finance, Labor Unions, Educational Institutions, Non-for-Profits and Real Estate/Property Management.
