Executive Panel – Business Leaders’ Insights on Marketing & Sales Decision-Making on October 14

Effective marketing and sales planning and decision-making can be a company’s competitive advantage or its Achilles heel. It’s clear that every business has the same goal: marketing needs to do more and sales needs to sell more. But exactly how marketing and sales professionals achieve those goals is where the differences exist.

Join us for an executive panel during which business leaders will share the priorities and expectations they set for marketing and sales professionals within their organizations. From the role marketing & sales professionals need to play in business planning and forecasting, to how they expect marketing and sales leaders to gain stakeholder alignment and communicate priorities and success. WITEF Fact

We all know the pay gap between what men and women earn still exists. But did you know that our region ranks among the best and the worst on this topic? In DC, women college graduates over age 25 earn 74% of what their male counterparts do ($67,800 vs. $91,100) ranking it toward the top as the 13th smallest pay gap. In the middle is Maryland at 71% ($60,700 vs. $86,000) ranking it 31st. And trailing both is Virginia, at 67% ($55,700 vs. $83,000) ranking it nearly last as the 48th largest pay gap. http://www.aauw.org/research/statedata/index.cfm
