WITEF New Vision and Mission Statements

The Women in Technology Education Foundation (WITEF) is pleased to announce the results of our efforts to update our vision and mission.

Our Vision: Empowering women to change the world by excelling in technology-related careers.

Our Mission: Use education to create awareness, excitement, and opportunities among girls and women to pursue successful technology-related careers.

We believe that WITEF’s new vision and mission statements reflect the foundation’s focus to use educational initiatives to interest girls in and pave the way for women to achieve success in technology-related careers as well as to support more senior women in achieving comparable representation in executive roles and in the boardroom. The WITEF’s vision and mission nicely support WIT’s vision and mission as both strive to solve the problem of the career life cycle that progresses from the classroom to the boardroom.
