Join us for this special, customized workshop that will enable you to uniquely present yourself in the most powerful light to the market or workplace today. By attending this workshop you will learn to build on your personal strengths, passions, and natural energy patterns. Utilizing a unique assessment tool called the TriMetrix System®, WIT members will learn about their personal styles, motivations and attributes. "TriMetrix" refers to three distinct measures of a person's talents:

  • Behaviors — What actions or approaches are necessary for success?
  • Motivators or Values — What does this role reinforce or reward?
  • Attributes — What mindsets are required for successful performance?

Each participant will take a pre-session online self-assessment that will be used to produce a 40-plus page Personal Coaching Report. These reports will be sent to participants via email prior to the session and will be the basis for much of the group discussion in this highly interactive workshop.

While the workshop is the same for all participants, there are two options for the assessment tool:

  • Intro Version — includes assessment for Behavior Style and Motivation ($200)
  • Full Version — adds the assessment for Attributes/Mindset, plus a post workshop one-on-one phone consultation with Executive Coach ($350)

This workshop is being delivered by Myron Radio, a well-respected and seasoned Executive Coach. He was requested by many of the participants in the WIT Mentor-Protégé Program who heard Myron deliver a shorter version of this workshop.

Those wishing to utilize the intro version for $200, please register on-line. Those wishing to utilize the $350 full version, please contact the WIT office at staff@womenintechnology.org or (703) 683-4003.

For the last couple of years, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) has been one of the lead news stories in the IT industry. Vendors, consultants, and industry analysts declared SOA as the next great wave in IT systems development. But recently a growing choir of expert voices is debating the question, "Is SOA dead?" So, what is the current status of SOA development efforts? Is there a future for SOA?

Internationally known SOA thought leader David Linthicum will lead a panel of experts in exploring the issues surrounding SOA: present and future. The panelists will roll-up their sleeves and attempt to address the SOA concerns facing the industry:

  • Have the SOA principles been melted into the pot with other systems architectures (client server, Web based, etc.)?
  • Has SOA become an enabler for your Enterprise Architecture?
  • What about cloud computing?
  • How does it fit into or leverage the SOA design principles?

Panelists Include:

  • David Linthicum, Founder, SOA consulting firm David S. Linthicum, LLC
  • Susie Adams, CTO, Microsoft Federal Civilian Government Business
  • Linda Y. Cureton, CIO, NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center
  • Moderator: David Kelly, Information Assurance Solutions Director, Citizant

Join us with your questions, experience, and opinions on the success, failure, lessons learned, challenges, and future of SOA implementations.
