Donations to the Women in Technology Education Foundation (WITEF)
The Women in Technology Foundation is actively seeking donations to the foundation. We are a Section 501(c)(3) organization so all donations are fully tax deductible.
The mission of WITEF is to empower school-age girls, particularly those in underserved communities, by engaging them in programs that foster interest in science, technology and computer-related learning. We fulfill this mission by:
- Providing funding in support of education, mentoring, and training programs intended to encourage women and school-age girls to pursue technology-related interests and/or careers and to increase their awareness, understanding, and proficiency in the use of technology as a means of enhancing opportunities and performance in employment and education
- Conducting and/or supporting education, mentoring, and training programs as a means of encouraging women and other minorities to become entrepreneurs in the field of founding and operating nonprofit entities benefitting society as a whole, and to educate women and school-age girls in the uses and benefits of technology as a means of improving employment and education opportunities and the pursuit of technology-related careers
- Providing scholarships and grants to nonprofit organizations and individual women and school-age girls as a means of advancing education and awareness of technology-related careers, enhancing performance in the workplace and in school, and as a means of providing technology-related education, mentoring, and training to under-served communities of women and school-age girls
